Just caught this movie link of the Star Wars Imperial March being played off what appears to be a 3.5 inch floppy disk (it pains me that I need to put a Wiki link here for this). Not quite sure how this thing is setup or manages to play music, but the geek inside of me is impressed.
If you haven’t heard already, Lucas is bringing a new CG Star Wars television series, which took its roots from the animated series on the Cartoon Network back in 2003. As with that series, the premise of the show is to bridge the gap between the second and third episodes and will encompass over a hundred 22 minute episodes according to George.
Anyways, check out the latest traileron the Star Wars site to see the details of the upcoming series. Check back here on FH for news as it become available.
This is HILARIOUS! …or should I say “comically smashing” since it was made by the people across the pond. This explains a lot about Darth Vader. This shows his angst stems from a strong case of N.G.A. (Not Getting Any). I guess he hasn’t been getting much shore leave in Mos Eisley to relieve his stress with some “working girls”. Maybe with some booty he wouldn’t go around choking things so often…
TheForce certainly isn’t strong with this one. Stacey Hedger gives Disco Stu a run for his money in a bad way. Seriously, how can you know how to play the trumpet and be this tone deaf. She sure can rock the leotard, bangs, and arm hangy thingies. After listening to that, I’m gonna need A New Hope.
Here’s some more scoop floating around, there have been 40 episodes already created. It is rumored to be of darker content and thus targeted towards an older audience. My guess is think seinen anime/manga. Maybe this means Jar Jar has scars and says stuff like “misa gonna bring the pain”, or better yet, he isn’t there at all…we can only hope. It has to be aired after 9 PM and on a non-”kiddie” network.
But wait…there’s more. I’ll let George tell you about it in the vid after the jump.
Ever wonder what a “professional” Chewbacca impersonator actually looked like? Yeah, me neither, but check out this guy who showed up on an episode of Judge Joe Brown for what appears to be aggravated assault.
Wait for it… wait for it… “It’s not wise to upset a wookie.”
Here’s a hilarious mashup of that “Star Wars Kid” that everyone’s has come to know and laugh at and the awesome Neo vs. Agent Smith(s) fight during Matrix Reloaded.
Now all we have to do is cross our fingers and hope that we don’t get sued.
Just as the title suggests, Chad Vader is a video spoof on Darth Vader as he does his best to try and manage a local supermarket. It definitely has some funny moments (especially if you enjoy Star Wars humor) but sometimes feels like it might be “forcing” it a bit. (oh god, I gotta get out more)
I definitely have to give props to the guy doing Vader’s voice, as I probably would believed it was Mr. James Earl Jones himself if I didn’t know any better. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the short clip.
And if you liked that one, you can always make the jump and catch the rest of the episodes.
If you guys haven’t caught the Robot Chicken take on the Star Wars trilogy, you’ve gotta check them out! George Lucas would be proud… or really pissed off.
