For those of you that haven’t seen it, here is the first movie trailer for the upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight. There aren’t any new visual shots from the movie, but there are some sound bites that should give you a nice taste of what’s to come. Also, for the fans of the original Tim Burton movies, I digged up the very first trailer from that classic.
Check out this hella cool Batman Lego flick, as the Caped Crusader does his best to outwit the Riddler and his henchmen. There is no dialogue, but the music is definitely by Danny Elfman, who did the score for the original Tim Burton Batman movies. If you dig it, why don’t you check out these Batman Lego sets and start filming your own Batman adventure!
For those that haven’t yet heard, Katie Holmes will not be reprising her role as Rachel Dawes in the upcoming Batman movie. She stated scheduling issues coinciding with her other movie projects (and the ever possible return of Xenu) has led Mrs. Cruise… er Holmes to decline the return role. Instead Batman fans will be treated to, in my opinion, a much better leading actress in one Maggie Gyllenhaal (whom I look forward to marrying, if only to make the spelling of her last name a reasonable task).

Here is an amusing movie of what it might be like if the caped crusader decided to stop by the local grocery store in his full accoutrement. I can’t believe I just used the word accoutrement.
Here’s a video taken from the Today Show, showing Meredith Viera “straddling” the new BatBike from the upcoming Batman movie. Personally, I think it looks like a reject from the upcoming Transformers movie, but at least it doesn’t have streamers.
Here’s a fresh pic of the Dark Knight comin’ at ya from our friends at Gizmodo. Looks like the Bats is moving away from the organic look, and going more towards the super armored/synthetic look. Let’s just hope that he doesn’t start sprouting up antennas on his forehead or anything. But in all, probably a good trend because look ma, no nips!
